So much to love in this post! An Edna update, a dinner party designed by the great Betty Williams and a recipe that will finally cure the kitchen phobia I’ve had for months (except for party prep of course haha). That Pineapple Coconut cake is getting made! Carter will love it! Two of his favs..thank you my brilliant friend. 🤩

Carter is a lucky man to live with someone who feeds him so well. ❤️

I forgot the part about Edna using her broken oven to store her clothes! Such a good story. Excited to cook with you this week, my friend!!! And thank you for the dinner party shoutout 💖

There's a little bit of Edna in all of us. I don't think you need to look for her; you already know everything you need to know. The drawings are lovely.

Thank you Amela. I think you’re right… there’s a bit of Edna in all of us. ❤️

Part of me like Jim Rockford of Rockford File because he lived in a trailer on the beach near LA. I wouldn’t need much to get that luxury.

I love ypur stories so much. When I get the chance to people watch I’m starting to wonder about their back story. As for the salad, they say it’s the year for cabbage. So Edna seems to be very on trend!

Thank you so much Marjory! It's been so fun to write them... I hope to do several more this year. And, the year of the cabbage! I had no idea, but I'm all about it! I feel like I'm always a few steps behind the "current" trend, but every once in a while I land on one by accident!

I like Edna. I think I'd risk it, show up with a cold 6-pack, and sidle up to hear what I can only imagine would be several lifetimes worth of amazing stories. Thanks for the (re-)introduction.
