I have learned that life can be incredibly hard and deeply good at the same time. Those truths do not compete, they simply exist together. 🫢🏻

Oh Rebecca, I just love this. Easy and hard are such slippery (and relative) terms and the lines can become blurred. What is easy for one person is hard for someone else and vice versa. And then there are some things that will always be hard. You are amazing my friend! And yayyyyyy for Road Food!!!!! πŸ™Œ Excited for this new series! πŸŽ‰

Thank you so much Betty. I know you understand. And THANK YOU for the idea for Road Food. The second the words were out of your mouth, I was like, β€œoh, yes. Of course.” Sometimes we need someone else to point out the opportunity that’s just hanging out right in front of us.

I am so sorry for your loss. Pain while in grief is unbearable at times, and so can life in general. But every day I count my blessings and look for easier ways to enjoy each day. My business blogging days are over; I much prefer the hobby option of my publication and finding joy in helping and supporting others.

At least that's the plan.

Although my goals and plans often get side tracked when new ideas pop into my head and I have to try them out. If they fail, I try something else.

This hits hard. Extreme pain as an undercurrent through all the joys. And even when my life is hard, it’s so much easier than life is for so many others of this world.

Thanks for the shout-out! I’m so glad you’re enjoying my treats! I’m going to pick blueberries today, which will definitely yield more such jars soon!

I wish you a long happy day of picking and as much bounty as you can carry home. ❀️

This is so good. It's hard, it's a hustle, it's a struggle, after my husband had lymphoma a few years ago we both thought we'd never forget that even when our life is hard really it is easy. A therapist once told me I need some of the angst as a creative, to fuel my inspiration, sometimes it's where my best work lives. I was both sad and happy to suddenly realize at that moment that's true too, at least for me.

I would love to say I don’t relate to this, but I can not. Perhaps the raw emotional response we have to the difficulty of life is the fuel to our being able to express the truth of this human experience and then, accept it for what it is. Happy and sad. That is exactly how I feel about it.

I agree - happy and sad. Happy it's not for nothing - sad for the suffering πŸ™ƒ
