Thank you Melissa! I don't remember what we used to call them when I was a kid... it wasn't preacher cookies or cow pies! Regardless, they are super tasty!
I hope your cough is much better now, Rebecca. I also can’t sleep anywhere, I was never able to. And thanks for the live — it was so fun, and nice to see both you and Cristina.
I think you made the right call with going back to the RV. My sister lives on a canal boat and I just couldn't do it! I need my creature comforts! But good on you for having the optimism to try again one day.
Thank you Shell! It's been an interesting experience because Steve and I had no problem downsizing from our house to an RV. But, I think we found our limit with how small is too small. BUT, we still want to sail places for weeks at a time... so, we are determined to figure out the sleeping situation next year. And also, I hope some apple cake and a cup of tea are in your near future. :-)
Good sleep and cookies. That is an excellent formula for recovery!!! Glad you are on the mend, friend! 💞 And that Brussels sprout salad looks incredible! 😍
Your chocolate chip cookies are the best in the world and have been made in my house at least a dozen times. If they aren’t medicinal, I don’t know what is.
I am so glad you are back in your comfy home on wheels. After finding out that you had covid, I was telling Ken that’s when I would have cried uncle 😂 I’m certain you guys will figure it out, but enjoy the best of both worlds for now I say!!
I’m trying to picture the boat. Would you be able to rip the bed out and turn that space into an office area and then put the bed in the main area somehow?
There’s a second bed at the rear of the boat. It’s also small, but it’s a rectangle (not a triangle) and the space isn’t as cramped. We are going to do some research and see if we can find a mattress that might fit that space. The bed is right next to the navigation table, which is what Steve was using for work. But, next year, we are thinking that we’ll take vacation time to do long sails and not try to live and work on the boat full time.
Thank you, friend! Being sick definitely did us in. It's been so nice being back in a more comfortable space. We are going to try to get out on the water today and will hopefully still have several more sailing days this month before we pull the boat out of the water for the season.
I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. Love the preachers cookies, haven't heard of them before.

That apple streusel cake is so my cup of tea!!

I thought you might agree with me. Tacos also wouldn't hurt. The salad is super tasty, but I'd eat anything that involved apples and cheddar.
Tacos!🌮

I'm feeling better this morning, so I think they are working! Better have another, just in case...

I hope you and Steve are back to normal soon. ❤️
