This looks interesting! I love shortbread, but I haven’t made it from scratch yet.

It’s soooo easy, Lala! Every time I make shortbread I wonder why I don’t make it more often. Not only is it simple to make, but baked shortbread lasts much longer than other kinds of cookies. Let me know if you try it! Or if you have any questions along the way!

Thanks Rebecca! I’ve always had the boxes of shortbread from the store. I’ll have to give them a try :) Is the baking process similar to slice and bake cookies?

For this recipe, you simply roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter or biscuit cutter to cut them into shapes. The rolled out dough can rest in the refrigerator for a few days, so it’s ready to bake when you are.
