Gosh, there seems like a lot of space between actually and apparently. Glad you are bridging that gap.

This newsletter filled me up in every way possible! Thank you.

I must admit the picture of the scary waves brought me some anxiety.

Thank you, my friend. Those waves brought me some anxiety as well. Although, not as much as they used to. I am learning to better distinguish between actually dangerous and apparently dangerous. :-)

Gorgeous post, the writing and the photos. You’ve made me miss Michigan!

Thank you Kim! Your words have me thinking about how there are places more likely than others to make us miss them. Michigan is an easy place to miss.

I loved reading this post. I have been spending so many Summers on the True North Island waking in the forest on the water! When i hike the ashtray in Utah or move through the Colorado Mountains in can be disorienting without water! You feel so connected to the water sailing and all the outdoor living. 8 feet waves and all! Glad you are home

We'll head back to Colorado when we leave here and I have a suspicion that I might feel a bit exposed on those open plains. Connected to nature.... that is the perfect way of saying it. If we ever decide to pick one spot and settle there, it will be somewhere with a forest and water. Now that I know you can have both, I don't think I could settle for less.
