My mom loves to bake and apple pie is one of her signature desserts. Growing up there was always an apple pie on Thanksgiving plus at least a couple more baked up at other times of the year just because.

Apple pie is also one of Steve’s favorite desserts. So, I always bake at least one every fall, during those months when I become obsessed with apple everything. And, if I’m making pies for Thanksgiving, one of them will almost always be apple.

If you’re baking for a crowd, might I suggest this salted caramel apple pie? It’s over-the-top decadent and guaranteed to knock the socks off whomever is lucky enough to get a slice.

But, if you want to bake an apple pie that only takes about an hour and a half, start to finish, and delivers 4 cute little slices, this is your recipe.
