Wasn’t done- I kept my maiden name because my married name was always mispronounced and I had to spell it 2 times everytime someone asked- plus I love the name Blackwell- I was in Belfast once and passed by an old wooden 2 story building that had Blackwells Book Shop painted on the outside- I loved it!
Yes! Me too! She is a gem, for sure. On a totally different note, you have the same name as my mother in law, without the Dale (Debbie Blackwell). Even spelled the same way. :-)

Blackwell is a good name. I was happy to take it when I got married.
My husband is Spanish- Guasch- prounounced like a squash but with a G -might have well for me here in Spain- ! Too late-
