Loved this article. All the places you visited last year are absolutely beautiful. I would have a hard time picking 10. I want to get to the PNW this year where my cousins live. I have to try those cheeseburger quesadillas. They look so yummy!
My son got me one of those digital picture frames for my birthday one year and Ken and I find ourselves n watching it for long stretches at a time. It was such a great gift. Enjoy making memories to fill it with in the new year ❤️
If I had to choose one favorite, the PNW would probably be it. And cheeseburger quesadillas are not the kind of thing I’m normally drawn to… but I love them so much!
Fab photos and list! I appreciate the "can't narrow it to just 10" ethos. And why should you?! I did see your upcoming recipe workshop announcement in the Write Up community. Wahoo! HNY, Rebecca.
I am really looking forward to that workshop! Such an honor to be asked to teach it. Happy New Year to you! May it be filled with new favorite places to add to the list!
Ooo, I love this list and will save for the future. My husband and I got married on Lake McDonald 21 years ago and I've been to most of the Utah locations, but want to visit all the others!
And a cheeseburger quesadilla...how has this not crossed my mind?!
Lake McDonald is truly one of the most beautiful places in the country. What an incredible place to get married! And Utah has been one of the best surprises since we started traveling about the country. We grew up in Colorado and it was just sitting there next to us the whole time, but until we moved into the RV, we had no idea how many incredible places there are in that state.
Stunning photos of the places you’ve visited!!! I can see why it was hard to narrow it down. And I love how so many of them include my favorite aspect: a water view! 😍 Also, I defo have to make that elegant cake.
Growing up in Colorado, Steve and I didn't know how much we loved being around water. Now that it's an option, it's all we want. And I'm pretty sure that cake is your kind of cake.
Your photos are gorgeous! The RV life really does give you access to some incredible views and locations - better than a hotel! Also, that cheeseburger quesadilla looks decadent! ❤️
Thank you, my friend! I really do feel so fortunate to be able to travel to so many beautiful places. Cheers to another year of adventures, for both of us! 🥂
Thank you Sheryl! The sheer number of places we get to visit because we live on the road is probably the thing I love the most about living in an RV. Even if we would have only gotten to live this way for a few years, we would have seen so much more of the country than we would have otherwise.
Happy New Year Kate! We've done that train ride a couple of times during October to see the fall colors. It's always spectacular! How fun to do their polar express run with your grandkids!

Wow, what an amazing list of places you’ve travelled!! The PNW is a personal favorite. 😍
Also I now totally want to make the cheeseburger quesadilla—what a genius mashup!!

I grew up in SW Colorado so we spent many vacations camping in Utah.
Where in SW Colorado?
Telluride
Now that you’re saying it, I think I remember reading that. What a beautiful place to grow up!
Yes. I feel very fortunate!
Love to see Michigan on your list!
Michigan is definitely one of our favorite places! And, now that we keep a sailboat there, it’s where we spend our summer!

Happy New Year, my friend!
Beautiful reading, glorious photography, recipes are as expected - bliss. And may I say what a list of travels - just wow !

Happy New Year! I was just in Bryson City for the Polar Express train ride with 3 of my grandkids and 2 of my big kids. It was amazing.
